Anderson Kazuo Nakano

I have a pós-doctorate (2019) from the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the University of São Paulo (FAUUSP), a PhD in demography (2015) from the Nucleus of Population Studies of the Institute of Philosophy and Human Sciences of the University of Campinas (NEPO-IFCH-UNICAMP), master's degree in urban and environmental structures (2002) from the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism Faculty of the University of São Paulo (FAUUSP), a post graduation in urban and environmental management (2000) from the Institute for Housing and Urban Development (IHS) and a graduation degree in architecture and urbanism (1995) from the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the University of São Paulo (FAUUSP). I am interested in urban and population studies, particularly in sociospatioal inequalities and injustices, urban densities, territorial planning and regulation. I worked as a project manager in the Ministry of Cities (2004-2005), as a senior technician at Pólis - Institute for Studies, Training and Advisory Services in Social Policies (2000-2004 and 2006-2012), as a member of the consulting team for the preparation of the National Housing Plan (2009) and as the director of the Urbanism Department of the Municipal Urban Development Secretary of São Paulo City Goverment (2013-2014). Professionally, I have worked with urban, environmental and housing planning and management. I had teaching experiences working in the lato sensu post-graduation program in real estate law of the Getúlio Vargas Foundation of São Paulo (2013-2016), in the undergraduate course in architecture and urbanism at FIAM FAAM-Centro Universitário (2012-2017), in the professional master's degree in project, production and management of urban space (ended) of FIAM FAAM-Centro Universitário (2014-2017) and in the undergraduate course in architecture and urbanism of the University Center of Fine Arts of São Paulo (2016-2017).
