Geologist with a Master's and PhD in Geology and Geochemistry from the Federal University of Pará (UFPA), and a postdoctoral degree in Sedimentology and Stratigraphy from the State University of Campinas (IG-UNICAMP). He is currently an adjunct professor in the Department of Geology and Geophysics at the Fluminense Federal University (GGO-UFF), a professor in the Graduate Program in Earth and Ocean Dynamics (DOT), and a researcher in the Exploratory Interpretation and Reservoir Characterization Group (GIECAR). He has experience in Geosciences, with an emphasis on Sedimentary Geology, working primarily on the following topics: (i) depositional architecture of ancient and recent environments; (ii) sedimentary petrography; (iii) applied geophysics; (iv) high-resolution stratigraphic analysis; and (v) seismic stratigraphy.
