José Maria Mascheroni


Birthplace: Argentina

Graduated in Electronic Engineering - National University of La Plata (1985) and M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (1991). Jose has extensive experience in engenering areas applied to Laser manufacturing equipment and processes. Acting mainly in the following areas: Cut (2D), additive manufacture (3D), and Laser engraving. Areas of research: motion control, design and automation of machines, industrial systems of artificial vision, processes of manufacture with Laser. Jose was directly responsible for the development and marketing of the first laser engraving and cutting equipment manufactured in Brazil. Today he manages the development of the first industrial additive manufacturing equipment for polymers and metals in the Latin American market. He works intensely related to federal and state research institutions as well as agencies for the development of technology. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
