Birthplace: Brazil

PhD student at the University of Debrecen, carrying out her research at the MTA Centre for Ecological Research, the research aims to use bioindicators (macroinvertebrates) to assess the quality of rivers in Hungary and a study of the state of the art in relation to legislation and monitoring carried out in Brazil. She obtained a Master's degree from the same institution in the same line of research, only limiting herself to analyses of the ecological state of Hungarian rivers. Graduated from the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho - UNESP at the Litoral Paulista Campus (São Vicente) in Biological Sciences. She was involved in an extension project entitled Environmental Education in the Mangroves, which went into schools to teach the importance/relevance of this ecosystem in a playful way, so as to enable children to become aware of it and therefore put their newly acquired knowledge into practice. I had the opportunity to participate as a monitor in a training course on the Mangrove Component organised by the Chico Mendes Institute (ICMBio), and I was able to offer scientific knowledge about the Conservation Units on the Brazilian coast. As well as gaining international experience, I took part in various conferences and tutored at Summer Schools. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
