Carlos Denner dos Santos Júnior

My work lies in between management, computer science and statistics to deliver premier knowledge and technology to support relevant challenges to managers, researchers and students. To identify and address such pressing issues i) I work in close relationship with public administration, as Brasilia hosts the federal government; ii) have strong ties to the entrepreneurial software ecosystem, especially the free and open (source/innovation) community in Brazil; and iii) collaborate with students at all levels (nowadays mostly PhDs). Additionally, I have many friends and co-authors of the highest expertise in all aspects of technology research and development. Administratively, I have sat in various university-level committees such as to validate foreign PhDs people request equivalence, work as adjunct director for the PhD studies in management, was the director of the university school of entrepreneurship, and I am financial counsellor of a foundation that manages research projects involving partnerships between the university and the federal government.
