Deborah Arnsdorff Roubicek

Studied Biology at the University of São Paulo (1984), masters degree in Biological Sciences at the University of São Paulo (1989), Ph.D. in Toxicology at the University of São Paulo (2003) and post-doc activities in environmental mutagenesis at the Inst de Investigaciones Biomédicas of the Univ Nac Autonoma de México (2005). Biologist at the São Paulo State Environmental Company (CETESB) since 1992, is a member of the board of MutaGen-Brasil (2020-2022) and chair of the Alexander Hollaender Outreach Committee of the Environmental Mutagenesis and Genomics Society (EMGS) (2020-). From 2005 to 2009, responsible for quality management according to the NBR ISO / IEC 17025 standard and maintenance of accreditation of all activities of the Department of Environmental Analysis. From 2009 to 2021, manager of the Toxicology and Genotoxicity Sector at CETESB, responsible for the investigation of genotoxic compounds in environmental samples (water, sediment, air particulate matter). At the present, manages the Human Toxicology and Environmental Health Division. Experience in Genetics, with an emphasis on Mutagenesis, working mainly with environmental toxicology, Ames test (Salmonella / microsome), comet assay and micronuclei in cultured mammalian cells.
