He holds a Bachelor in Biological Sciences by the Institute of Biosciences - USP (2008). He got the Master degree in Biology in the Institute of Chemistry - USP (2011) and the PhD degree in Biology in the same institution (2016). He has experience in biochemistry and insect physiology. He worked as a visiting researcher at the University of Insubria (Italy) for three months (2016) and at the Department of Genetics, University of Cambridge (UK) for one month (2019). He worked as postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Ecology at the Institute of Biosciences-USP (2017-2020) and at the Gulbenkian Institute of Sciences (Portugal; 2021-2022) (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
