Juliana da Silva Coppede

Graduated, Master, Doctor and Post-Doctor in Biotechnology from the University of Ribeirão Preto. He has 22 years of experience in the production of medicinal plants through cell and tissue culture. He works on research projects in the areas of plant biotechnology and herbal medicine production, microbiology, human cell culture and molecular biology, with the aim of conserving biodiversity and its applicability for the rational use of natural resources. Member of the UNAERP Internal Biosafety Commission, since 2019. Currently teaches, in the UNAERP Postgraduate Program in Biotechnology, the subjects: Biodiversity, Molecular Biology, Bioprocesses, Biosynthesis of secondary metabolites, Clinical studies and Production of herbal medicines; having been incorporated into the Permanent Nucleus of professors in 2020 of the Postgraduate Program in Biotechnology in the Special Permanent Professor (DPE) Young Permanent Professor (JDP) category (https://www.unaerp.br/cursos/mestrado-e-doutorado-em-biotecnologia). She is a professor at Phytotherapy USP, being responsible for the Microbiological Quality Control of Phytotherapy module (http://www.https://fitoterapiausp.com.br/). Since 2021, he has collaborated in teaching the Medical Phytotherapy discipline offered by the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto (FMRP-USP). He collaborated in a Research and Development project in partnership with the industry Ourofino Saúde Animal from 2011 to 2014. He worked with molecular diagnosis of COVID-19 in the partnership established between the Department of Biotechnology at UNAERP and Laboratório Genética Dr. He has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;Biotechnology, with an emphasis on pharmacological bioassays, molecular biology, propagation and genetic characterization of plants. He has worked for 16 years in microbiological quality control of herbal medicines in various pharmaceutical forms in live pharmacies.
