He graduated with a Full Degree in Mathematics from the State University of Mato Grosso (UNEMAT), Sinop University Campus (2011). He holds a Master's and Doctorate in Electrical Engineering from São Paulo State University (UNESP), Ilha Solteira Campus, obtained in 2013 and 2017, respectively. He completed a postdoctoral degree as a FAPESP fellow, in Electrical Engineering at São Paulo State University (UNESP), Ilha Solteira Campus (2017-2021). He completed his postdoctoral research at the Universidad Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM), Spain, between February 2019 and January 2020. He completed his sandwich doctorate as a CNPq SWE fellow at the Universidad Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM), Spain, between September 2015 and August 2016. He is currently an assistant professor at Mackenzie Presbeteryan University (UPM). He works in the following research areas: mathematical optimization, meta-heuristics, planning and operation of electrical energy distribution systems via optimization methods.
