Isabela Teresa Santos Corrêa

Graduated in Bioprocess Engineering from the Federal University of São João del-rei. Holds a Master's degree in Science - Laboratory Research in Public Health, from the Adolfo Lutz Institute, at the Laboratory of New Drugs - Neglected Diseases, Center for Parasitology and Mycology, carrying out a project that aims to search for drug candidates against neglected diseases, such as Chagas disease . Did Scientific Initiation at the Department of Chemistry, Biotechnology and Bioprocess Engineering (DQBIO), working with production, purification and evaluation of fungal enzymes. Completed an extracurricular internship at BIOAGRO - Institute of Biotechnology Applied to Agriculture, incubated at the Federal University of Viçosa, in the Forestry Genetics and Pathology laboratory, acquiring experience in microbiology and molecular biology. Worked as Technical Training at SGC - Structural Genomics Consortium, at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), working mainly in the area of #8203;#8203;molecular biology, specifically working with high throughput cloning, separation and purification of proteins using analytical techniques. Worked in private pharmaceutical industry - Blau Farmacêutica - in the biotechnological development of API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients), in Upstream and Downstream processes, in the production of proteins / biopharmaceuticals from the recombinant DNA technique, process scaling and experience in a clean area. In addition to the implementation of the unit's production plant (ANVISA / BPF). Currently works as a Technology Specialist at the SENAI Institute of Innovation in Biotechnology, where I work with research, development and innovation, carrying out projects in support of industries for the Development and Optimization of Bioprocesses with Cellular and Microbial Culture.
