Marcelo Mendes Lavezzo

I have graduation in Medicine from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho - UNESP (2002-2007). I attended the program of Medical Residency in Ophthalmology (Graduate Studies a broader sense), at the Department of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology, Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo - FMUSP (2008-2010). During 2011, I served as chief of the residents at the Department of Ophthalmology, Hospital das Clínicas, Faculty of Medicine, University of São Paulo - HC - FMUSP. Currently, I work as a M.D. hired by public tender at the Department of Ophthalmology, Hospital das Clínicas, Faculty of Medicine, University of São Paulo - HC - FMUSP. I also act in the Preventive Medicine (Check-up Unit) - Jardins Unit of the Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein. Concluded the Ph.D. program of University of São Paulo Medical School - Ophthalmology on February/2020, under supervision of Dr. Joyce Hisae Yamamoto, MD, PhD. In 2020, completed Clinical Observership at Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC), under supervision of Prof. Chee Soon Phaik, MBBS, M Med(Ophth), FRCS(Glasg), FRCS(Ed), FRCOphth.
