Professor at the Architecture and Urbanism School at Mackenzie Presbyterian University since 1988, and Professor at the Graduate Program in Architecture and Urbanism since 2016, working in the research line of Modern and Contemporary Urbanism: Representation and Intervention. Since 2004, he has been the vice-leader of the Contemporary Urbanism research group: networks, systems, and processes. In February 2023, he began coordinating the research group Q URB URBAN ISSUES: DESIGN, ARCHITECTURE, PLANNING, LANDSCAPE (http://dgp.cnpq.br/dgp/espelhogrupo/54869). In 2021, he joined the Advisory Board on Public Space of City Space Architecture (http://www.cityspacearchitecture.org/).He holds a degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the University of São Paulo (1986), a master's degree in Architecture and Urbanism from Mackenzie Presbyterian University (1998), and a Ph.D. in Architecture and Urbanism from the University of São Paulo (2006). Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Architecture and Urbanism (2021-2024); Coordinator of TCC (Undergraduate Final Project) and Research (2018-2020); Deputy Coordinator of the Architecture and Urbanism Course (2013-2018). He has experience in the field of Modern and Contemporary Urbanism, focusing mainly on the following topics: public spaces, caring city, urban commons, urbanism theories, urban planning, urban requalification, urban projects, urban operations, and urban policies.
