Abstract
The research aims to interweave the various stages of sugar and alcohol history of South-Central Brazil and the actual formation of a unique and extensive sugarcane region, which covers parts of five states (SP, PR, MS, GO and MG ).

Graduation and Bacharelado in Geography at Universidade de São Paulo (2006), Master in Geography at Universidade de São Paulo (2010) and PhD in Geography at Universidade de São Paulo (2015). Has experience in Geography and Cartography, focusing on Agrarian Geography, acting on the following subjects: Brasil, canavicultura, estado de São Paulo, sugar-cane and etanol.Currently conducts a postdoctoral research in Geography at FCT/UNESP Presidente Prudente with support from PNPD / CAPES (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
