Oscar Scussel holds a degree in Mathematics from UNIOESTE - State University of Western Paraná (2010), a master's degree in Dynamic and Energetic Systems Engineering from UNIOESTE (2013), and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from UNESP - São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2017), with a sandwich project carried out over 12 months at the University of Patras, Greece. He completed three postdoctoral fellowships: two at UNESP/Ilha Solteira, funded by FAPESP and CAPES, and one at the Institute of Sound and Vibration Research (ISVR) at the University of Southampton, England, funded by EPSRC. He has experience teaching higher education courses in Engineering, Mathematics, and Physics. He conducts research in the areas of signal processing, vibrations and acoustics, modeling and identification of nonlinear dynamic systems, and engineering education. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
