Adjunct Professor in the Bachelor of Archaeology programme at the Federal University of Western Pará (UFOPA). Winner of the Capes Thesis Award in the Anthropology/Archaeology area in 2023 and winner of the Capes Thesis Grand Award in the Humanities area in 2023. PhD in Archaeology from the Postgraduate Programme in Archaeology at the Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology at the University of São Paulo. He has a Master's degree in Anthropology from PPGAN-UFMG and a degree in History from UFV. He worked for three years as an archaeologist at the IPHAN Superintendence in Minas Gerais. He is carrying out ethnoarchaeological research into the braids of the Mapuera people, also known as the Wai Wai. He studies museum ethnographic collections, especially the braids of indigenous peoples from the Brazilian and Bolivian Amazon, as well as indigenous ceramics from central Brazil and the Amazon. She has experience with archaeological excavations and ethnography. She has published work on the material culture of indigenous peoples, ethnoarchaeology, indigenous archaeology, experimental archaeology, perishable technologies, braids, ethnographic collections, long-term archaeology, intra-site spatial analysis, ethnographic and archaeological ceramics, zooarchaeology (freshwater sponge spicules), bioarchaeology, archaeobotany and archaeological soil analysis.
