Ivo Freitas Teixeira

Ivo Teixeira received his BS in 2012 and his MSc in 2013 from the Federal University of Minas Gerais. He received his PhD from the University of Oxford in 2017, under the supervision of Prof. Edman Tsang. After that, he joined Prof. Pedro Camargo?s group at University of São Paulo (Brazil) as a postdoctoral researcher. Between 2019 and 2021, Ivo was a Humboldt Fellow at the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces in Potsdam (Germany) as a guest of Prof. Markus Antonietti. Currently, Ivo is an Adjunct Professor at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), where he recently founded his research group focused on materials based on carbon nitrides and single-atom catalysis coordinates the Young Researcher project (FAPESP) entitled "Graphitic Carbon Nitrides as Platforms for Single-Atom Photocatalysis: Moving Towards Design Principles for Improved Performance".
