Andres Rodriguez Veloso

Full Professor in the Business Department at the School of Economics, Business, and Accounting (FEA) of the University of São Paulo (USP), working full-time since 2009. Holds a degree in Business Administration from USP (2001), a Masters in Business Administration (Marketing) from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS, 2005), a Ph.D. in Business Administration (Marketing) from USP (2008), and the title of Livre Docente from USP (2014). Has published 34 articles, including 24 in high-impact national journals and 10 in international journals. Notable publications include contributions to ABS-listed journals such as the Journal of Macromarketing, Journal of the Association for Consumer Research, Journal of Consumer Affairs, Journal of Consumer Behaviour, International Journal of Advertising, and Journal of Fashion Marketing and Management.Since 2023, he has been the Coordinator of the SemeAd Seminários em Administração. He represents Brazil as an elected European Marketing Academy (EMAC) member for the 2020-2023 and 2023-2025 terms. Additionally, he is the Vice-Leader of the Marketing track at ENANGRAD the National Meeting of the Brazilian Association of Business Administration Students. He has also been the Marketing Director of ANGRAD since 2023. In the area of academic mentorship, he has guided 21 Masters and Doctoral students since 2011 (13 Masters and 8 Doctoral), as well as supervising 12 undergraduate research students during the same period. Since 2008, he has supervised 89 undergraduate final papers (TCCs).In academic administration, he has been Vice-Head of the Department of Administration at FEA-USP since October 2021. He has also held various leadership roles in undergraduate programs, serving as President of the Undergraduate Committee of FEA-USP (2020-2022), Coordinator of the Business Administration Program (2017-2020 and 2023-2024), and Vice-Coordinator of the same program (2023).
