PhD in Chemistry at Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2019-2024), PhD visiting reseacher at University College London (2022-2023), Master in Chemistry from Universidade de São Paulo (2017-2018) and Bachelor of Chemistry with Technological Assignments from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (2012-2016). In addition, the Magna cum laude Academic Dignity Award was earned after conclusion of his graduation due to the excelent academic performance. His research of most interest lies in the preparation of value-added compounds from raw materials obtained from renewable sources. During the Master's degree, several semi-natural betalains of different types (mepBeet, dipBeet, mecBeet and mecsBeet) were semi-synthesized and their hydrolytic and photophysical properties studied. During the PhD, efforts were invested in obtaining platform molecules from carbohydrate derivatives (3A5AF, 3A5EF and 3A5HF). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
