Graduated with a degree in Pharmacy-Biochemistry from the University of São Paulo, with research projects in the areas of Organic Synthesis and Drug Design. Completed exchange periods at the University of Groningen (Rijksuniversiteit Groningen), working in the area of Multi-Component Reactions (MCR), with an emphasis on isocyanide-based compounds, and at the University of Copenhagen, focusing on the design of dendrimeric prodrugs with potential activity against tuberculosis. Also completed a sandwich PhD period at the University of Oxford under the supervision of Prof. Paul Edward Brennan. Has 6 full articles published in scientific journals, 1 book chapter, and 8 conference presentations. Founder of the science communication group Via Saber, organizing the event Pergunte a um cientista in several Brazilian states. Co-author of the book Super heróis da Ciência, published by Harper Kids in 2021. Currently pursuing a PhD at the Institute of Biology at the University of Campinas (Unicamp), working in Drug Design with a focus on Fragment Screening using Weak-Affinity Chromatography.
