Professor at the Department of Hydraulics and Sanitation of the School of Engineering of São Carlos, University of São Paulo (EESC-USP). His research focuses on statistical hydrology, watershed hydrology, and the interactions between the hydrological cycle and climate change. His work aims to understand the hydrological and climatic processes that regulate the water balance, with emphasis on the occurrence of extreme events and the promotion of water security in vulnerable contexts. Ph.D. in Hydraulic and Sanitation Engineering at EESC-USP (2024), which included a period as a visting researcher at the University of Calgary, Canada. Ms. in the same field and institution in 2021.
