Fernando E. Padovan-Neto, Ph.D. https://orcid.org/0000-0002-5529-3168, is an Assistant professor at the Department f Psychology in the Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences, and Letters of Ribeirão Preto at the University of São Paulo. He completed his post-doctoral research in Neuroscience at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine Science in the USA. He holds a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Neuroscience from the University of São Paulo (USP). His areas of research interest include new pharmacological therapy-based strategies which can offer more selective symptomatic treatment of movement disorders in neurodegenerative diseases. His studies aim to reveal novel and promising therapeutic strategies that may have clinical implications expected to advance the treatment options for patients with movement disorders.
