Daiana Silva Lopes

Graduated in Biological Sciences from Federal University of Uberlândia- UFU (2006). PhD in Sciences- Biotechnology from the University of São Paulo - USP (2011), carrying out the experimental part in the Immunopathology laboratory of the Butantan Institute (FAPESP scholarship holder) and at the Frankfurt University Hospital- Center for Molecular Medicine, Department of Vascular Matrix Biology- in Frankfurt- Germany, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Johannes A. Eble. She carried out her post-doctorate (PNPD/CAPES) in the Biochemistry and Animal Toxins Laboratory of the Institute of Biotechnology of the Federal University of Uberlândia. Visiting Professor at the Multidisciplinary Institute of Health- Federal University of Bahia- Anísio Teixeira Campus- Vitória da Conquista- BA (2018-2020). Professor of Biochemistry in the Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics of the Federal University of Bahia- Salvador Campus (2020-2021). She is currently a Professor of Biochemistry at the Federal University of Bahia- Multidisciplinary Institute of Health- Vitória da Conquista Campus. He works in the research line "purification and biochemical and functional characterization of toxins isolated from animal venoms".
