Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Instituto de Química (IQ)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

Masters and Ph.D. in Chemistry, with a focus on the Physical Chemistry of Colloids, from the Federal University of Paraná (2014 and 2018, respectively), with a sandwich doctorate period at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research, Germany, under the DAAD program (2016-2017). Postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Chemistry of the University of São Paulo (2018-2021), including a period as a visiting postdoctoral researcher at CIC Biomagune, Spain (2019-2020), through the BEPE/FAPESP program. She has experience as a scientist in the chemical industry and in a multinational startup, as well as contributions to the Academic Management Training Program in Innovation and Entrepreneurship (PGI) at the University of São Paulo. Since 2024, she has been an Assistant Professor (RTDA) at Politecnico di Torino, in the Department of Applied Science and Technology, Italy. Her academic research focuses on interactions at the nano-bio interface, particularly to regulate the biophysical and chemical functions of biomolecules, such as enzymes. She develops studies that utilize LSPR-enhanced mechanisms (nanoplasmonics) to trigger bioactivity, contributing to the emerging field of plasmonic biocatalysis and prospecting more efficient, sustainable, and non-invasive solutions in the domains of applied biocatalysis and nanomedicine.
