Birthplace: Brazil

Master and PhD in Chemistry, with a career built in the area of research, development and innovation of materials, with diverse experiences in academic research, in multinational chemical industry, and in multinational startup. Graduated in Chemistry from the State University of Maringá (2011), master's and doctorate degree in Chemistry from the Federal University of Paraná (2014 and 2018, respectively) with a sandwich doctorate period at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research in Mainz, Germany (2016-2017 ) by the DAAD program. Postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Chemistry of the University of São Paulo (2018-2021), with a period as a visiting postdoctoral researcher at CIC Biomagune in Spain (2019-2020) through the BEPE/FAPESP program. The main study interests involve:a) Biophysicochemical interactions at the nano-bio interface between nanoparticles and biomolecules;b) Plasmonic biocatalysis - regulation of enzyme functions immobilized on plasmonic nanoparticles controlled by external light irradiation;c) LSPR-enhanced mechanisms to trigger bioactivity;d) Biomedical applications of nanobioconjugates, such as biosensors and cancer theragnostics. The main objective of her research is to obtain non-invasive, sustainable, accurate and remotely controlled methods and in the rational development of bio-nanomaterials to promote solutions in applied biocatalysis and in nanobiomedicine applications.
