She holds a Master's degree in Haematology from the Faculty of Medicine of USP (2005) and a Doctorate in Infectology from the Federal University of São Paulo (2014). She is currently Associate Advisor of the Postgraduate Programme of the Department of Infectious and Parasitic Diseases of the Faculty of Medicine of USP, Researcher - LIM / 05 - Laboratory of Experimental Air Pollution, Hospital das Clínicas, Researcher at the Faculty of Medicine of USP - LIM-31 and Researcher at the Pró-Sangue Hemocentro Foundation of São Paulo. She has experience in microbiology, infectious diseases, diagnosis of microorganisms through molecular tests such as fungi, bacteria and viruses, metagenomics, arboviruses, COVID, next generation sequencing (NGS), with a focus on microbiology, working on genetic mutation projects: iron binding proteins, iron overload, hemochromatosis, mutations and metabolic disorders.
