Cristiane holds a masters degree in International Relations with a focus on global health policy. She specializes in qualitative research methods (including interviews, content analysis, and process tracing), and utilizes tools such as NVivo and Python. Her work includes studies on the influence of WHO, UNICEF, and UNFPA during the Zika epidemic, as well as research on the impact of public policies on women during the COVID-19 pandemic both funded by FAPESP (The São Paulo Research Foundation). She has served on the Lancet Committee in Brazil, focusing on synergies between Universal Health Coverage (UHC), health security, and health promotion, and has consulted for organizations such as Oxfam Brazil, Conectas Human Rights, and PAHO.
