Lamonielli Fagá Michaliski

Bachelor in Chemistry from the São Carlos Chemistry Institute (IQSC) at the University of São Paulo (USP). PhD in Sciences (Organic and Biological Chemistry) from IQSC/USP, under the guidance of Professor Roberto Berlinck, with a Visiting Graduate Researcher appointment at the Univeristy of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), supervised by Prof. Dr Yi Tang. Graduated from the Integrated High School Technical Course in Chemistry at the Federal Technological University of Paraná (UTFPR). Worked as an intern in the Chemistry Laboratory (SMIL.DT) at the Itaipu Hydroelectric Plant. Research interests include microbial natural product chemistry and biochemistry of microbial secondary metabolism, including the discovery of bioactive secondary metabolites as well as the elucidation of their biosynthetic pathway through synthetic biology techniques.
