Karolina Eriza Reis

Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), Sorocaba campus. Experienced in the field of Zoology (Ichthyology), with an emphasis on the Taxonomy of Recent Groups of Bony Fishes. Worked on surveys of the ichthyofauna of tributaries of the Amazon Basin and on the curation of the Ichthyology Collection at the Ichthyology Laboratory of Sorocaba (LISO), UFSCar Sorocaba campus. Holds a Masters degree in Sciences from the Graduate Program in Systematics, Animal Taxonomy, and Biodiversity at the Museum of Zoology of the University of São Paulo (MZUSP), with the project "Taxonomic Revision and Osteology of the Hemigrammus geisleri Species Complex." Has experience in environmental consulting, with a focus on ichthyofauna, having prepared environmental technical reports of the PAEBMS type and restoration plans. Currently responsible for the curation of the Herpetology collections at the Institute of Biosciences (IB) and the Museum of Zoology (MZ) of USP, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Miguel Trefaut Rodrigues.
