D. Duarte has Physics and Masters degree at Universidade Federal de São João Del-Rei (2011 and 2013 respectively), Physics Ph.D. degree at Universidade Federal de Santa Maria. She had a FAPESP Postdoctoral fellow at Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica - ITA - (2018-2019 and 2021-2022) and a Research Associate position at Institute for Nuclear Theory (INT) at University of Washington (Aug. 2019-Aug.2021). Currently she is Professor at Universidade Federal de Santa Maria. She has experience in subjects related to Particle and Fields Physics and quark matter under extreme conditions, and in the construction of models for quarkyonic matter. Recently she works in two main lines of research: In the elaboration and use of QCD effective models to the description of its phase diagram under extreme conditions and also in the formulation and solution of Dyson Schwinger equations directly in Minkowski space.
