Helder Oliveira holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Alagoas (2011), a Master's degree in Computer Science from the State University of Campinas (2014), a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the State University of Campinas (2018), and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Computer Science at the State University of Campinas (2019). He was a finalist in the competition for the best master's thesis in Computer Science awarded by the Brazilian Computer Society (2015), won the award for best Thesis at the Brazilian Symposium on Computer Networks and Distributed Systems (2019), and received the award for second best Thesis at the Latin American Doctoral Thesis Contest organized by CLEI (2019). Currently, Helder Oliveira works as a professor at the Institute of Mathematics, Statistics and Computing at the São Paulo State University (IME-USP). His research focus is on computer networks, with special emphasis on optical networks and wireless networks. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
