Veterinarian graduated from the School of Animal Science and Food Engineering at the University of São Paulo (FZEA-USP, 2016). Holds a Masters degree in Animal Science (FZEA-USP, 2020), with emphasis on genetics, molecular and cell biology. Currently a PhD candidate in the Graduate Program in Animal Biosciences at FZEA-USP, developing a project on liquid biopsy based on circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) as a marker of minimal residual disease (MRD) in dogs with lymphoma. Completed an international research internship (BEPE-FAPESP, 2019) at the Roslin Institute, University of Edinburgh, Scotland, investigating exosome-mediated chemoresistance in hematopoietic neoplasms. Completed a PhD sandwich internship (BEPE-FAPESP, 20232024) at IMGT the International ImMunoGeneTics Information System, University of Montpellier, France, focusing on the annotation of IGH and IGK loci genes in the canine species. Experienced in comparative and translational molecular oncology, canine lymphoma, clonality, immunogenetics, immunoinformatics, genomics, and bioinformatics, with emphasis on the development of liquid biopsy tests for diagnosis and monitoring of minimal residual disease (MRD) in canine lymphomas.
