Works in the fields of Aquaculture and Ecotoxicology. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Biodiversity of Coastal Environments at São Paulo State University (UNESP), investigating the impacts of emerging contaminants on the farming and metabolism of marine shrimp. Experienced in the cultivation of crustaceans and microcrustaceans in closed and fully recirculating systems, developing methodologies and techniques to stabilize water quality parameters and optimize the maintenance of aquatic organism cultures. Holds a Master's degree in Biodiversity and Marine and Coastal Ecology from the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP), with a thesis focused on evaluating changes in bacterial community structure in shrimp farming using biofloc systems. Completed a scientific internship with the "Analysis and Control of Microbial Systems" research group at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) during the masters program. Holds a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Marine Science from the Federal University of São Paulo. Has also worked with biological reactors for aquaculture waste treatment, and in the field of Ecology, analyzing stomach contents of decapods and assessing decapod bycatch fauna in artisanal fisheries. Additionally, has experience in shrimp grow-out in intensive and semi-intensive marine shrimp farming in earthen pond systems. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
