Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP). Instituto de Química (IQ)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

I hold a BSc (2011), MSc (2013), and Ph.D. (2017) in Chemical Engineering from Brazil, and I bring nearly 12 years of expertise in catalytic processes. My career has been dedicated to advancing the field of catalysis, with a strong emphasis on renewable energy technologies. My research has encompassed hydrogenation reactions, biomass upgrading, and catalytic reforming, focusing on the intricate physicochemical properties of catalytic materials, reaction mechanisms, and in situ catalytic behavior using advanced synchrotron techniques. My professional journey has afforded me the opportunity to collaborate with leading experts and researchers across various institutions. I have worked at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) in Richland, USA, contributed to research at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP), and served as a postdoctoral researcher at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) under the esteemed guidance of Professor Lercher. At TUM, I spearheaded the development of kinetic models to enhance the understanding of zeolite catalysts for hydrogenation reactions, significantly advancing the field.Currently, as a Researcher at Neste, a prominent refinery in Finland, I leverage my extensive technical knowledge to optimize and manage complex catalytic systems in an industrial setting. My commitment to the field is driven by the belief that innovative renewable energy solutions are vital for the sustainable development of our future. Through my ongoing work, I am dedicated to making substantial contributions to both the scientific community and society at large. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
