Luís Felipe Mendes Felício holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from UNESP (FFC/Marília) and a Master's degree in International Relations, specializing in International Security and Geopolitics, from PRI-UFABC (São Bernardo do Campo). He is currently pursuing a postgraduate specialization in Public Administration at the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais (Puc Minas). During his undergraduate studies, he participated in the International Conflict Observatory (OCI) from 2016 to 2018, serving as the coordinator of the Asia and Eastern Europe team from 2017 to 2018. He also served as Director (Finance and Projects) of the International Relations Student Association Diplomat Sérgio Vieira de Mello from 2016 to 2018.Felício was a volunteer member of the Tutorial Education Program (PET-RI) and the Immigrant and Refugee Assistance Center (NAIR) from 2017 to 2019. He conducted research funded by FAPESP (2018/06963-9) with the project The Leviathan in the 21st Century: A Study Based on Hobbes of the USA Patriot Act from 2018 to 2019. He worked as an English and Spanish instructor at KNN Idiomas in Marília from 2019 to 2020. Currently, he is researching the USA Patriot Act through the lens of the Copenhagen Schools securitization theory. He was awarded a FUFABC Master's scholarship between March and April 2021. Felício contributed to the editorial team of the UNESP Marília Observatory of Current Affairs, where he authored and co-authored articles published on the OAC blog (2020-2022).Since March 2021, he has served as a Technical Advisor for Multilateral International Affairs at the Municipal Secretariat for International Relations of the City of São Paulo.
