Project Officer at the ILO, supporting the implementation of policies and programs that tackle child and forced labour in Brazil and LAC, alongside the Ministry of Labour and Employment. Formerly an Economist (ETC) at the World Bank in Luanda, I provided technical assistance to the Angolan national statistical office in collecting and assuring quality in household surveys, besides producing policy, poverty, and inequality analyses. Previously, a Post-Doctoral Researcher Fellow at DRCLAS/Harvard University, investigating the socioeconomic impacts of COVID-19 on Brazil. Im also a PhD in Political Science at the University of São Paulo, when I studied why competitive democracies with stratified labor markets have redistributive expenditure policies, along with regressive tax systems.
