Holds a Ph.D. in the Space Sciences and Technologies Program, with a concentration in Materials Chemistry, from the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA), supported by a CAPES scholarship. Earned a Masters degree in the same program and concentration at ITA, previously supported by a FAPESP scholarship. Holds a Bachelors degree in Industrial Chemistry from PUCRS, with a sandwich program at Dillard University in New Orleans from 2013 to 2014 through the Science Without Borders program (process number: 13592.038276/2013-53). Participated in a summer research project in 2014 at the Department of Natural Sciences and Environmental Health at Mississippi Valley State University.
