Marina Ghirotto Santos holds a PhD in Social Anthropology from the University of São Paulo. She has a Masters degree in Social Sciences from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo, with a research period at the Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar (Quito, Ecuador), and a Bachelors degree in International Relations from the School of Advertising and Marketing (ESPM). Her research focuses on Indigenous ethnology, with an emphasis on Amerindian politics and cosmopolitics, Indigenous women's movements, gender, feminisms, and diversity; political ecology, conservation, and socio-environmental conflicts.
