I am a PhD candidate in Medicine and Health at The University of Sydney, working at the intersection of musculoskeletal health and digital technologies. With Bachelors (first class honours) and Masters degrees in Physiotherapy, and a Postgraduate Specialisation in Pain, I have four years of experience in clinical practice, working in the public healthcare sector (Brazilian Healthcare System). I also have extensive experience of more than seven years in scientific research, working in world-class institutions with multicultural teams and coordinating clinical trials. My expertise includes musculoskeletal health, pain management, digital health strategies, dance biomechanics, and ergonomics. At an early stage in my career, I have a demonstrated track record including scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals, competitive research grants, national/international awards, and media coverage. Additionally, I have experience as a research supervisor for undergraduate/postgraduate students and as a reviewer for international peer-reviewed journals. Committed to improving people's health and well-being through science and innovation, I strive to design and promote novel translational research while constantly challenging myself to pursue new horizons and learn new skills.
