Currently a masters student at the Laboratory of Cultivated Plant Physiology in the Department of Plant Biology at the University of Campinas (Unicamp), focusing on embolism vulnerability and hydraulic safety in Coffea species. He developed software to automate the analysis of embolism vulnerability curves using the pneumatic method (Pneumatron). Has experience in measuring hydraulic efficiency and gas exchange in plants. During his undergraduate studies, he participated in scientific initiation projects in synthetic and molecular biology, gaining skills in laboratory techniques such as cloning and genetic manipulation.
