She holds a degree in Biomedicine from the Federal University of Triângulo Mineiro (2008), a Master's degree in Medical Sciences from the State University of Campinas (2011), and a PhD in Medical Sciences from the State University of Campinas (2015). She has experience in the field of Human and Medical Genetics. Works on the themes: dysmorphology, craniofacial anomalies, oral clefts, epilepsy, encephalitis, occupational exposure, mutagenesis, micronucleus, chromosomal aberrations. Has experience in carrying out Molecular Biology techniques such as Openarray, PCR, automatic sequencing, automatic genotyping, high-throughput sequencing. Participated in studies with typical orofacial clefts and EEC syndrome (2009-2015). She was part of the Cranio-face Brazil Project, coordinated by Profa. Dr. Vera Lúcia Gil da Silva Lopes (2009-2015) She was a reviewer for Birth Defects Research Clinical and Molecular Teratology (2014 2017) and Journal of Dental Research (2015-2017). She worked for 5 months as a service provider at the Laboratory of Molecular Genetics-FCM / Unicamp (April to September 2015). She did postdoctoral work at FCM under the supervision of Dr. Iscia Lopes Cendes (2016), where she worked with high-throughput sequencing and microarrays applied to epilepsy and encephalitis at the Laboratory of Molecular Genetics-FCM/Unicamp. She held a postdoctoral internship at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), in Dublin-Ireland, in the area of bioinformatics applied to epilepsy, in addition to the development of other projects during this period, such as mitochondrial DNA sequencing in epilepsy, among others. She was under the supervision of Prof. doctor Gianpiero Cavalleri (2017-2018). She is currently in the postdoctoral program under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Iscia Lopes Cendes, at FCM-Unicamp, working on autoimmune encephalitis, epilepsy and adverse reactions to anticonvulsant drugs, among other subjects in complex diseases. She completed a postdoctoral internship at the Nuffield Department of Clinical Neurosciences (NDCN)/University of Oxford, under the supervision of Prof. Sarosh irani, in the field of immunology applied to autoimmune encephalitis (2022-2023).
