Paulo Procopio Ferraz is a substitute professor of French language and literature at UFF. He holds a master's and a doctoral degree in French literature from the University of Paris VIII. He completed his doctoral studies with the support of CAPES. He has also pursued postdoctoral research at the University of São Paulo, funded by FAPESP. In 2016, he received an academic merit award from the Chancery of the Universities of Paris. With extensive experience in teaching French language, he is a member of the research group "Plural Writer: interdisciplinary studies of the work of Roland Barthes". He coordinated the literature podcast "As madalenas" as an extension project. Additionally, he serves on the editorial board of the Revista Criação e Crítica. His research focuses on 20th-century literary criticism, with a particular interest in the relationship between literary theory and writing. You can reach him at ppaferraz@gmail.com.
