Joao Gilberto Mendes dos Reis

Graduated in Logistics Technology with an emphasis on Transport from the Faculdade de Tecnologia da Zona Leste - Centro Paula Souza (2005); Specialist in Management and Design of Sustainable Urban Mobility (2024) from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie; Master in Production Engineering from Universidade Paulista (2008); PhD in Production Engineering from Universidade Paulista (2011). He has a post-doctoral internship at Universidade Paulista (2014) and Universidade do Porto (2016).He has experience in the area of Production Engineering and Logistics, working in several companies in the transport and logistics sector.Coordinator of the Research Group on Supply Networks and Logistics - RESUP has developed several researches and works on logistics, supply chain management and urban mobility and their relationship with sustainability, smart cities, production chains and quantitative management, evaluation techniques and simulation.He is a reviewer for international journals such as European Journal of Operational Research (Elsevier), Journal of Cleaner Production, Journal of Transport Geography, Biosystems Engineering, Journal of Urban Planning and Development, Sustainability, Case Studies on Transport Policy among others.He is editor-in-chief of the Journal of Urban Mobility, Logistics and Sustainable Smart Cities-Mobicities and South American Development Society Journal-SADSJHe is a member of Workgroup 5.7-Advances in Production Management Systems (APMS) of the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP).
