Shadiyah Venturi Becker

Shadiyah Becker is a multimedia artist with a degree from Universidade Estadual Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP) and Universidade Santa Cecília (UNISANTA). She is currently pursuing an MBA in Communication and Marketing at ECA-USP. In 2017, she worked as an actress, teacher, and assistant director for director Antunes Filho in the Prèt-à-porter project in Fonemol. During the pandemic (2021), she presented the online performance 'Frequência Yonis' at the Ocupação Ovárias festival in Rio de Janeiro. In 2022, she carried out a transmedia occupation, 'Um ato: Adeus', at the Museum of Image and Sound in Santos (MIS), where she premiered the performance 'Convite ao Adeus' and developed an installation with artist Paula Santos. At the same event, she debuted her first short film as a director, 'SP Nunca Foi Tão Bonita'. That same year, the performance 'Convite ao Adeus' was selected for the Satyrianas festival in São Paulo. In 2023, she performed 'White Rabbit, Red Rabbit' by Nassim Soleimanpur at Sala Especial e Discos in Santos. This year, she premiered her second short film, *O Peso do Making Of*, funded by PROAC.
