Thaís Soranzo holds a BA in Literary Studies, an MA and a PhD in Literary Theory and History from the State University of Campinas (Brazil). Her thesis focuses on the connections between painting and literature in the work of Émile Zola, George Moore, and Gonzaga Duque. Part of her doctoral research was carried out at the University of Oxford (2022-2023), under the supervision of Prof. Stefano Evangelista. Previously, she was also awarded a scholarship to spend an academic semester at the University Carlos III of Madrid, Spain (2015-2016). At present, Soranzo is a member of the George Moore Association and the research group History of the Novel (Unicamp). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
