A Fulbright Scholar and PhD candidate at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, with a Master's degree in Dental Sciences from the University of São Paulo and a DDS from the Federal University of Pelotas, complemented by an exchange program at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences as a CAPES fellow. Previous experience spans diverse fields such as Immunology, Microbiology, and Biomaterials during an undergraduate research tenure supported by CNPq. Gained valuable laboratory exposure as a Research Intern at The Forsyth Institute in Cambridge, MA, and as a Research Student at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA.
