Birthplace: Itália

Has a master's degree in Geosciences at the Università degli Studi di Trieste, Italy (2012). Since March 2018 has a doctorate from the Federal University of Ouro Preto (MG, Brazil) beginning in October 2013. Since November 2018 has a postdoctorate at the Institute of Astronomy, Geophysics and Environmental Sciences of the University of São Paulo (SP, Brazil) with project on oxidation of the atmosphere and oceans during two major transitional periods, the Great Oxidation Event (~ 2.45 and 2.2 Ga) and the Neoproterozoic Oxidation Event (~ 0.80 and 0.54 Ga). Has experience in geochemistry, geochronology, classical and experimental petrology. Studies focus mainly on the following topics: sediment geochronology and isotopic geochemistry related to Earth oxidation periods, geochemistry and geochronology of accessory minerals by the study of felsic to ultramafic magmas, experimental petrology to study the source (s) of granites and magmas in general; geology and geodynamics of the Archean-Paleoproterozoic, Neoproterozoic and Triassic Medium transition. Along with these projects, others that are being developed are: mantle xenoliths and peridotitic bodies, generation of alkali and ultra-alkaline basalts. Finally, he is interested in studying Komatiitic Archean ultramafic magmatism. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
