Graduated in Biological Sciences (medical modality) from the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP) in 2007. He has a master's degree in the study of knockout (KO) mice for kinin receptors B1 and B2 in obesity and its reaction with the inflammatory process by the program of postgraduate degree in Molecular Biology at UNIFESP. He holds a PhD in the study of the aminopeptidase A enzyme and its regulation in genetically obese ob/ob mice from the graduate program in Molecular Biology at UNIFESP and the Instituto Max-Delbrück Centrum für Molekulare Medizin (Berlin, Germany). He holds a postdoctoral degree in the study of the genetic, molecular and enzymatic profile of the renin-angiotensin system (RAS) in patients with familial hypercholesterolemia by the graduate program in Molecular Biology at UNIFESP. He is currently a Biomedical Officer at the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP) at the Department of Biophysics where he studies mutations in patients with Familial Hypercholesterolemia (FH) and the development of endothelial cells (ECs) from induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). He has experience in the areas of Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Genetics, Physiology, Endocrinology and Immunology, working mainly in the genetic and molecular study of patients with FH and the development of iPSC-ECs.
