He holds a degree in Pharmacy from the Federal University of Sergipe (2011) and a PhD in Biological Sciences (Biochemistry) from the University of São Paulo (2023). He was a CAPES fellow in the Science without Borders program in the undergraduate sandwich modality in the area of biochemistry at Arizona State University and Florida International University (2014-2015). He carried out an exchange with a FAPESP scholarship for research internship abroad at Linnéuniversitetet (2021-2022). He is currently a postdoc at Lund University in Sweden in the area of protein structure and stability.
