Vanessa Elias de Oliveira

Vanessa Elias de Oliveira holds a master's and doctorate in Political Science from the University of São Paulo and a master's in Public Health from the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Santa Casa de São Paulo. She is an Associate Professor of Political Science in the Bachelor's Degree in Public Policy program and a permanent lecturer in the Graduate Program in Public Policy at the Federal University of ABC (UFABC). She was a Visiting Professor at the University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany. She was President of the Brazilian Political Science Association (ABCP) between 2022 and 2024. She completed a postdoctoral internship at the University of Bologna (Italy). She is a researcher at CNPq. She coordinates the research line Judicialization and Access to Justice and Citizenship at INCT QualiGov - Quality of Government and Policies for Sustainable Development. She is a principal researcher and dissemination and communication coordinator at the Center for Favela Studies (CEFAVELA) at UFABC. She is the coordinator of the Public Policy Research Program at Fapesp.
