Graduated from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) in Biological Sciences (bachelor's degree) with an emphasis on biodiversity conservation (2019), master's degree in Animal Science from the Federal Rural University of Semi-Arid (UFERSA) in 2023, and a PhD student in Systematics, Use, and Conservation of Biodiversity at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC) since 2023. She worked with molecular biology techniques to characterize the trade and consumption of sharks and rays. Currently, she uses bioacoustics techniques to understand the biology of the manatee along the eastern coast of Ceará. She is a technical member of acclimatization and release at the Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) Aquatic Ecosystem Research and Preservation Association (AQUASIS), in the Marine Mammal Program, directly involved in the acclimatization of rescued and rehabilitated manatees for their subsequent release and monitoring.
