Laura Gabrieli Pereira da Silva

Master in Social Sciences from São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP) with a scholarship from CNPq. Graduated in Social Sciences (teaching and bachelor's degree) from the same institution. Completed an exchange program at the University of Santiago de Compostela in 2016 for one semester with a scholarship. Was a FAPESP scholarship holder with research on the use of official Facebook pages in the 2018 presidential elections, a topic addressed in her final course project. Held a scholarship from the Internet Steering Committee (CGI) in the Youth Program in 2019 and 2022. Alumni of the Internet Governance School. Throughout her career, she has worked with themes, initiatives, and techniques related to the presence of digital media in the informational diet in the Brazilian context, also covering topics such as internet governance, online content moderation, digital inclusion, and political communication. She is part of the Applied Research Lab at the School of Information, Media and Communication at Getulio Vargas Foundation and the Laboratory of Politics and Government at UNESP.
